Based on this information, you could call them family. Does family mean love? No, definitely not. You do not love someone and attempt to murder them, rape them while they sleep or cause harm to them in any purposeful way.

There is a thought: What if people treat their literal trash better than they do their LGBTQ kids? How scary would that be? Mother/Father etc saying "Get out, I don't care where you go but take the recycling out as you leave. Oh but make sure it goes in the appropriate bin!" Child responds "What about me, where will I sleep?" and the parent responds with "It doesn't matter, you are not who I raised and are trash." Are we though? It seems according to the stats that we are lower than trash, for even that you at least try to find the appropriate home first. Otherwise there would be no recycling, rummage sales etc. I am leaving you with this fact:
